Shot Caller
A California white collar man is charged and sentences to time in prison. He is a first time offender and was informed to protect himself. At first he does not go out looking for trouble but he stumbles upon it. While in prison, he connects with a white supremacy gang. This film goes back in forth between the past and the present. In present time, he is released on parole however he is in charge of coordinating a deal that may cost him is future. This film is captivating and there are many moments that catch you off guard. He is complex however has a reason for doing everything.
